NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk State sophomore Aurora Scott (Portsmouth, Va.) was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Cross Country Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Wednesday.

Scott led the Spartans to a fourth place finish at the University of Virginia Lou Onesty Invitational last week. In her season debut, she paced the team and finished in sixth place with a time of 18:49.30.

The Spartans travel to Williamsburg, Va. this weekend to take part in the William & Mary Colonial Inter-Regional Challenge.
