NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to UNC Wilmington on Saturday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Center.

The Spartans' (0-2) only win came by default at No. 6 singles to Rebecca Graff (Bastad, Sweden).

Jennifer Astbury (Chesapeake, Va.) and Silvia Panush (Sofia, Bulgaria) fell 8-3 at No. 1 doubles, while Naeemah Brooks (Galloway, N.J.) lost 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 doubles.

The Spartans are off until Feb. 12 when they take on Hampton at noon.
