Final Results

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Norfolk State sophomore Kellen Rutto (Eldoret, Kenya) recorded a fourth-place finish on Saturday afternoon to pace the Spartan women at the Tribe Open hosted by William & Mary.

Rutto finished the 6,000-meter course in 23 minutes, 8 seconds. She was the only Spartan to finish in the top 10.

Senior Jennifer Chichester (Silver Spring, Md.) was the next-highest NSU finisher. She placed 13th in 23:43.

Rounding out the Spartans' top five finishers were Syeeda Gee (Pittsburgh, Pa.) in 30th place (25:23), Mercy Koech (Eldoret, Kenya) in 35th (26:30) and Lillian Morales-Gonzalez (San Antonio, Texas) in 36th (26:56).
