NORFOLK, Va. – For the first time, basketball coaches from Hampton Roads are coming together in the fight against cancer. Hampton Roads college basketball coaches present the Coaches vs. Cancer Full Court Press.

The inaugural “Full Court Press” will be held on April 14 at 7 p.m. at the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center in Norfolk. Both NSU women's basketball coach Debra Clark and men's basketball coach Anthony Evans will be in attendance. The event will include dinner, dancing and live entertainment as well as an opportunity to bid on items in a live and silent auction.

Tickets are $100 per ticket or $1,000 for a table of 10. Sponsorships and program advertisements are also available. Spartan fans can contact NSU women's basketball coach Debra Clark at drclark@nsu.edu or (757) 823-8441 to purchase tickets.

Coaches vs. Cancer is the nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs.
