NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State athletics department announced that the Spartan Fan Zone will return for its second year at Spartan home football games. The Fan Zone will make its season debut on Saturday, Sept. 1 prior to the Virginia Lottery Labor Day Classic with Virginia State.
 
The Spartan Fan Zone will be located outside the NSU Student Center. It offers three hours of entertainment to include giveaways, interactive games, live radio remotes, bands, free food sampling and much more.
 
The initial Spartan Fan Zone attraction will feature local band RaJazz on Sept. 1. Admission is free. The party starts at 2 p.m. with RaJazz taking the stage at 3 p.m. The Fan Zone will end one-hour prior to kick-off (5 p.m.).
