2012-13: Indoor: MEAC indoor long jump champion for the third straight year … had her season-best indoor jump at the MEAC Championships (19 feet, 8.25 inches) … also won the long jump at the Penn State Invitational (19-2) and the CNU Captains Invitational (18-7.25) … ran a season-best 400m time of 56.71 seconds in the prelims of the MEAC Championship, placing ninth – one spot out of qualifying for the final … won the 400 meters (57.25) and was third in the 200 (25.61) at the UNC Gene Anderson Invitational … ran a leg on the 4x400 relay team that placed seventh at the MEAC Championship (3:51.06). Outdoor: NCAA East Preliminary Round and NCAA Outdoor Nationals qualifier in the long jump … earned USTFCCCA All-America honorable mention recognition for the second time in her career after placing 23rd nationally with a top jump of 18-11.25 at the University of Oregon … won her second career MEAC outdoor long jump title (19-9.75) … placed sixth in the NCAA East prelim with a top jump of 20-2.25 to qualify for nationals … was a three-time winner of the MEAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week award during outdoor season … won the award for the first time after winning the long jump (19-6) and running legs on the winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams at the Tribe Open in March … also won the weekly conference award after placing sixth in the long jump at the Florida Relays in early April with a best jump of 19-9.75 … jumped a season-best 20-4.5 to win the long jump at the NSU Relays, good enough to win her the weekly conference award for the third time … ran a leg on NSU’s MEAC championship and East Preliminary qualifying 4x100 team … Bell and teammates Torie Cunningham, Qua’Nesha Wallace and Brittney McCants clocked a time of 45.12 seconds to win the MEAC outdoor title … the 4x100 relay team posted a season-best time of 44.91 seconds to place 13th – one spot out of qualifying for nationals – at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … the quartet also posted wins at U.Va. Invitational (45.92) and the NSU Relays (45.30) in addition to qualifying for the Championship of America at the Penn Relays (45.41 in prelims, 45.47 in finals) … member of the member of the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring 2013 semester … named the MVP of the women’s track team.
2011-12: Indoor: Won the MEAC Indoor long jump title for the second straight year with a personal-best mark of 20 feet, 3 inches … placed second in the long jump at the Tyson Invitational (19-11) … finished second in the long jump at the CNU Holiday Open (19-3.5) … also high jumped for the first time as a Spartan, posting the team’s top four marks … season-best high jump with a 5-4.25 at the CNU Vince Brown Invitational, good enough for a first-place finish … posted an indoor PR in the 200 (24.93) en route to a sixth-place finish at the Hokie Invitational … also finished fourth in the long jump at the Va. Tech meet (18-9) … crossed the finish line fifth in the 400m at the MEAC Indoor Championship in a season-best time of 56.34. Outdoor: Completed the yearly sweep of the MEAC long jump titles with her personal-best jump of 20-5.25 … that was one of two meets where she cleared 20 feet during the season … also won the long jump with a mark of 20-4.25 at the NSU Relays … jumped 19-8.25 to take seventh place in the invitational section of the long jump at the Florida Relays … an NCAA East Preliminary Round qualifier for the second straight year, Bell placed 38th in the region with a top jump of 18-9.75 … also ran on both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams … helped the Spartans finish seventh in the 4x100 at the MEAC Outdoor Championship (47.46 seconds).
2010-11: Indoor: Won the MEAC indoor long jump title with a jump of 19 feet, 5.5 inches … also placed second at the conference meet in the 400 (56.18) and seventh in the 200 (25.34) … also ran the second leg on NSU’s 4x400 meter relay team that placed eighth at the MEAC indoor meet … season-best long jump was 20 feet, 1.75 inches in a second-place finish at Penn State … ran a season-best 400m time of 55.82 to place third at the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational. Outdoor: Earned honorable mention USTFCCCA honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championship by placing 22nd overall (19-6.75) … jumped a PR of 20 feet, 3 inches to win the silver medal at the MEAC Outdoor Championship … also PR’ed in the 400 at the MEAC outdoor meet, clocking a 53.86 … placed eighth at the conference meet in the 200 meters (24.21, season-best) and ran a leg on the Spartans’ first-place 4x100 relay (45.41) … finished 10th at the NCAA East Regional in the long jump (20-0.25) and also qualified for the regional in the 400 meters and with the 4x100 relay team.
High School: Four-year letterwinner…named team MVP her freshman, junior and senior seasons…a Nike Indoor All-American as part of Booker T. Washington’s 4x400, 4x200 and sprint medley relays during her senior season…was state runner-up in the outdoor 400 meters (55.65)…her PR in the 400 was 55.47…also placed fifth at the VHSL Group AAA state outdoor meet in the long jump with a PR of 19 feet...was runner-up in the long jump at the 2009 AAU Junior Olympics.
