NORFOLK, Va. — The NSU women's basketball team (0-1) visits Virginia Union University for a 6 p.m. game at Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va. The Spartans dropped their season opener 76-55 to Towson last Friday night. VUU also lost its first game of the season, falling 72-52 to the University of the District of Columbia on Saturday at Barco-Stevens Hall.

This is the 48th meeting between the two teams. NSU leads the all-time series 35-12 and won the last meeting, 59-57, on Dec. 18, 2006 at Echols Hall. The last time the Lady Panthers beat NSU was in the 1997-98 season when they won 46-43 at Echols Hall.
