VHSL Cardholder & Prospective Student-Athlete Coach Complimentary Admission Policy
Norfolk State University Athletics appreciates the partnership and support of high school, preparatory school, and junior college coaches in the development of prospective student-athletes.
VHSL Passes
Norfolk State University does not honor Virginia High School League (VHSL) passes for admission to home football games.
Complimentary Admissions for Coaches
Consistent with the intent of NCAA Division I recruiting legislation, Norfolk State University may provide up to two (2) complimentary admissions for each home football contest to eligible high school, preparatory school, and junior college football coaches.
Complimentary admissions are intended to support recruiting relationships and may be provided when:
- The coach is attending the contest in an official coaching capacity; or
- The coach is accompanying or evaluating a prospective student-athlete.
Request Process
All complimentary admission requests:
- Must be submitted through the Norfolk State University External High School Coach Online Ticket Request Form.
- Require prior coordination with and approval from the Norfolk State University football coaching staff.
- Are subject to availability and final approval by Norfolk State University Athletics.
- Must be submitted no later than two (2) days prior to the scheduled game.
Requests received after the deadline may not be accommodated.
Complimentary Ticket Request Form:
Each home game requires a separate ticket request.
Norfolk State University reserves the right to verify coaching status and to deny or revoke complimentary admissions that do not comply with institutional policy or applicable NCAA rules.
