Besides those two tournaments, NSU's home schedule this year will include the normal three MEAC series as well as a non-conference doubleheader with Longwood.
The Spartan Classic will include four games each day of the tournament. Action begins at 9 a.m., with successive games set to begin at 11:30 a.m. and 2 and 4:30 p.m. each day. Drexel, Yale, Wagner, Delaware State and Marist will join the host Spartans out at the NSU Softball Field.

The following weekend, NSU will face both Youngstown State and UNC Wilmington twice in two days at the University Area Hampton Inn Showcase hosted by UNC Wilmington on March 7-8. The Spartans will compete at North Carolina Central for a doubleheader on March 10 and then take on Rider and North Carolina A&T in the Blue and Gold Tournament hosted by the Aggies. The Spartans will face both teams twice, first on March 14 and then again March 15.
After that, conference play begins for the Spartan softball program. It starts with a trip to Coppin State on March 21-22.
NSU will play at home the next two weekends, beginning with Howard on March 28-29. The two teams will play a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on the first day and a single game at noon on the second day. The Spartans will then face UMES on April 3-4, again with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. the first day and a noon contest the second. That weekend series with the Hawks will take place Friday-Saturday instead of Saturday-Sunday due to Easter weekend.

The Spartans will hold Senior Day on April 18, with a doubleheader against the Hornets beginning at 1 p.m. The following day, the two teams will play a single game at noon.
After a weekend off, the Spartans play a doubleheader at George Mason on April 29 and close out the regular season with a three-game series at Hampton on May 2-3. This year's MEAC tournament will run from May 7-9 at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex in Ormond Beach, Fla.
