Rain Alters NSU-Coppin State Baseball Series

NORFOLK, Va. – For the second time this season, inclement weather has forced a change to a Norfolk State home baseball series with Coppin State. Due to wet field conditions, the teams will now play just one game Saturday instead of the scheduled doubleheader. Saturday's contest will begin at 6 p.m. at Marty L. Miller Field.

The teams will instead play their doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.

The Spartans (20-13, 16-5 MEAC North) are one win from clinching the outright regular season MEAC North title. This weekend marks the final conference series of the season for both teams.

Rain also altered the first NSU and CSU series in Norfolk on March 28-29.
