NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State softball program will host a summer camp for players entering grades 9-12 on Aug. 28 at the NSU Softball Field.
The camp will run from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. that day, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Cost of the camp is $125.
The camp will offer instructional work on offense, defense (infield and outfield), pitching and catching, softball measurements, batting practice, and live games and situations. Players will need to bring lunch as well as their own softball equipment, including a glove, bat, cleats, and batting gloves and helmet.
To sign up, fill out the
camp form and send it to the address shown at the bottom of page 2. Checks should be made payable to NSUAF-Softball.
To be eligible, players must be entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2016.
