SALISBURY, Md. – Rain suspended game one of the weekend series between Norfolk State and Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday afternoon at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The Spartans lead 2-0 entering the bottom of the fifth.
The game will be completed tomorrow starting at noon. The regularly scheduled second game of the series will follow the conclusion of game one tomorrow.
NSU scored both its runs in the top of the fourth.
Stephen Baughan walked to start the inning and
Adam Collins reached on an infield single. Both runners moved up a base on a wild pitch. Baughan scored on
Brandon Crosby's groundout, and Collins scored on a wild pitch.
Chase Anderson allowed three hits and no runs through the first four innings.
