Womack walked, stole second and scored on an RBI single by

Womack's RBI groundout in the top of the third scored
Danny Hosley, who singled earlier in the inning. But Garriola hit another RBI single and Matt Coutney doubled him in to push the Monarchs in front, 4-2, in the bottom of the third.
Garriola stayed hot with a three-run double in the fourth as ODU extended its lead to 8-2.
Womack blasted a three-run homer in the fifth to score Hosley and Rodriguez and cut the Spartans' deficit in half. But the Monarchs got an RBI triple from Chris Dengler in a three-run fifth, and added another single tally in the sixth to complete the scoring.
