NSU Baseball Receives ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State baseball team was recently named a recipient of the 2020-21 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

To be recognized, programs must have maintained a 3.0 team GPA for the 2020-21 academic year. NSU was one of 380 collegiate programs that met the criteria.

The news caps a banner year for the NSU baseball team, which won its first-ever MEAC championship during the 2021 season and participated in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship for the first time.
