NORFOLK, Va. – At the conclusion of the 2022 MEAC Softball Championship, the conference announced the selection of the 2022 MEAC Softball All-Tournament Team. Norfolk State's Tuli Iosefa was one of nine members selected to the team.

In the tournament, Iosefa led the Spartans with a .462 hitting percentage, going six for 13, including a pair of home runs. She finished the weekend with six RBI. Iosefa was also walked six times.

The two home runs helped Iosefa set a new NSU career home run record with 31.

For the season, she started all 48 games she played in and finished with 48 hits with seven doubles and 11 home runs. She slugged .682 and did not commit an error on the season. She was named the 2022 MEAC Player of the Year and was a member of the All-MEAC First Team.
