NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State freshman
Da'Brya Clark is off to quite the start in her collegiate basketball career.

The Baltimore, Md. product was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Clark averaged 10.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per contest in the Spartans' three road victories last week. She made her collegiate debut with 11 points, seven assists, and six rebounds at William & Mary, before tallying 16 points and seven rebounds at Radford. Clark came off the bench in both performances.

With the recognition, Clark becomes the first Norfolk State freshman to earn a MEAC Rookie of the Week award since Cam Plat-Morris achieved the feat on Feb. 11, 2020.
