NORFOLK, Va. | Norfolk State University head baseball coach Keith Shumate announced on Thursday a schedule adjustment ahead of this weekend's three-game series with Niagara.
 
The Spartans and Purple Eagles will open the weekend on Friday with a doubleheader, two nine-inning games, starting at 1 p.m. at Marty L. Miller Field. Due to inclement weather, the two teams will not play on Saturday and will resume the series with the finale at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
 
Norfolk State (0-4) opened the season last week at home against Morehead State, while Niagara will be beginning its 2023 campaign this weekend.
