PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Hugo Massoni Lena earned Norfolk State's lone point of the day on Friday evening, as the Spartans dropped a road match at Drexel 4-1.

Massoni Lena picked up his second singles victory of the season, as the Spartans went to 1-3 on the year with the result at Vidas Courts.

The Dragons took the opening doubles point, winning on Court 3 by default before Alan Jesudason and Alex Sousa defeated
Federico Rebecchini and
Boris Lunin 6-2 at the No. 1 position.

Drexel won No. 6 singles by default, putting the Dragons ahead 2-0 in the match.

Massoni Lena put together an excellent performance at the No. 2 slot, taking down Gustav Wogen in straight sets, 6-0, 6-3.

Drexel clinched the match 4-1, with Sousa besting
Boris Lunin 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 3 position.
