FARMVILLE, Va. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team fell 6-1 at Longwood on Tuesday afternoon, the team's first match in over one week.

Boris Lunin picked up the Spartans' lone point of the day, defeating Gary Huang 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (10-6) at No. 5 singles.

Longwood swept doubles play to earn the first point of the match, winning 6-2 at the No. 2 and No. 3 slots, taking the win at No. 1 doubles 6-3.

Sadiq Hinton dropped the first collegiate match of his career 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 6 position, before Luke Reis defeated
Ibrahim Abbas 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4.

Adam Kaczmarek won the first set at No. 3 singles 7-5 against Alejandro Uribe, but the Longwood freshman won by opponent retirement in the second set after Kaczmarek was injured.

The Spartans fell in straight sets on Courts 1 and 2, as Guillermo Cagigas defeated
Federico Rebecchini 6-3, 6-4 and Timeo Puech defeated
Hugo Massoni Lena 6-2, 6-2.
