NORFOLK, Va. | Norfolk State University will be the host for two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) spring sports championships in May, as the conference's softball and track and field events will take place on the Spartans' campus.

The MEAC Softball Tournament Championship will run May 10-13 at the NSU Softball Field. The tournament is a double-elimination format, featuring the top six teams from the MEAC's regular-season standings. Tickets are $10 per day or $35 for a tournament pass which covers all games over the four days. This year marks the third straight year that the tournament will take place on the Spartans' home field.

The MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships will run May 9-11 at William "Dick" Price Stadium. Men's and women's programs from all eight MEAC schools will compete over three days. Tickets for the championship are also $10 per day or $25 for a three-day pass. This will be the second consecutive year NSU has hosted the MEAC outdoor meet. The Spartan men won the 2023 MEAC indoor championship in February.
