NORFOLK, Va. - At the conclusion of the 2023 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Softball Tournament the All-Tournament team was announced with eleven athletes form competing teams earning accolades. Norfolk State's Gabby Vaughan garnered All-Tournament Team accolades for her performance in the tournament. 

At the plate, Vaughan tallied seven at-bats with one run scored on one hit, a two RBI home run, in the 7-4 loss to N.C. Central on opening day. While on defense at first base, she had 14 total chances with 14 putouts for 1.000 fielding percentage in the tournament. 

Norfolk State went 0-2 in the 2023 MEAC Tournament falling 7-4 to N.C. Central and 5-1 to Howard. NSU's season finished with a 24-23 overall record and a 14-6 mark against conference foes. The Spartans led the All-Conference teams with nine honorees.
