Sheehan Earns MEAC Pitcher of the Week Honors

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State junior pitcher Lauren Sheehan has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Sheehan pitched in 8.2 innings over the weekend in games against Central Connecticut State, Holy Cross, and Fairleigh Dickinson. She allowed no runs, struck out 11, recorded six putouts, and finished with two assists against 34 batters faced.

The Spartans are back in action at home this weekend against Youngstown State and UNLV on Friday.
