NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team earned its third consecutive victory on Monday afternoon, defeating Centre College 7-0 at NSU Tennis Complex.

The Spartans (7-9) won the opening doubles point by taking two of the three matches. Centre College won 6-1 on Court 2, but
Jakub Solarski and
Frederick McRae pulled out a 6-3 triumph at the top position before
Igor Kubalka and
Luka Cvjetkovic clinched the point with a 6-4 victory at the No. 3 slot.

Vladisav Gorbatenko kept the momentum going with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Ben Rueff at the No. 1 singles position, as Solarski bested Ty Bush 6-1, 6-0 on Court 2.
Deniz Okyay cruised past Anderson Gosnell 6-1, 6-3 on Court 3 to clinch the dual match win for the Spartans.

Cvjetkovic defeated William Howell 6-3, 6-2 on Court 6, before Kubalka crushed Chase Turley 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 5 slot. McRae closed out the match at the No. 4 position, taking down Emerson Dean 6-2, 6-0.

Norfolk State's win streak will be tested this weekend in Washington D.C., facing a myriad of conference opponents at the MEAC Tennis Roundup.
