NORFOLK, Va. – Collin Curry hit two deep home runs on Wednesday afternoon, as the Norfolk State baseball team lost 26-6 to VMI in seven innings.

Norfolk State fell behind early, allowing nine runs in the opening frame. The Keydets added nine more runs in the second inning to take firm control, before Curry knocked a solo shot over the centerfield wall to put Norfolk State on the board

Donovan Whitfield pitched a scoreless third frame, but the Keydets added one run in the fourth inning and another in the fifth. The Spartans kept fighting, as
Jamal Ritter drove in a run on a double down the right field line and scored himself on the next play.

Curry hit his second homer of the day in the sixth inning, before Jefferson drove home Burke with an RBI double.
Jalan Jones singled from there to give Norfolk State six runs on the afternoon.
