2010: Appeared in and started 48 games in his first year as a Spartan…served as the team’s lead-off hitter for much of the season…batted .307 and was second on the squad with 44 runs scored and 17 stolen bases (10th in the MEAC)…hit 11 doubles, homered three times and knocked in 31 runs…had 19 multi-hit games…had a 12-game hitting streak starting with the game vs. Delaware State (2-27-10) and ending with an 0-for-5 day at N.C. A&T on 3-28-10…had eight games with at least two hits during the streak…went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and a season-high four RBI in the win over Savannah State in the SSU Classic (2-28-10)…also hit a three-run homer in that one…finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in the win over Georgetown (3-2-10)…posted a 2-for-4 effort with a two-run home run in the first game of the doubleheader at N.C. Central (3-10-10)…had a 3-for-4 day with three runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in the victory over ODU (3-23-10)…had two steals, two RBI and two runs scored in the Game 1 win over UMES (4-10-10)…also had two RBI in the second game with ODU (4-13-10)…hit a grand slam home run, the Spartans’ only one of the year, in a loss to Bethune-Cookman (4-17-10)…posted two hits in all three games of the series at DSU (4-24 and 4-25-10)…drove in seven runs in the three outings…tallied a 7-for-11 series against Longwood (5-15 and 5-16-10)…went 3-for-3 in the second game with Longwood, one of three times he notched three hits in a game during the season.
At Delaware Tech: A two-year letterwinner…two-time All-Region 19 selection…batted .271 with 10 doubles, 18 stolen bases and 31 RBI as a sophomore, making second-team all-region…as a freshman, batted .365 with five home runs, 12 steals and 27 RBI, earning first-team all-region honors.
High School: First-team All-TCIS and all-state as a senior at GCA…hit .475 with four homers and 31 RBI…was a perfect 24-of-24 in stolen bases…helped GCA win the VIS state title…batted .369 with two homers, 16 steals and 22 RBI as a junior…attended Lakeland High School in Suffolk as a freshman and sophomore, lettering two years in cross country and one in baseball.
