2010 (Freshman): Played in 38 games and started 27 during his rookie season … started 23 games in center field and four at DH … batted .247 with seven RBI and 10 stolen bases … posted five multi-hit games … went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in the series finale with Villanova (2-21-10) … stole two bases in the second game of a doubleheader with N.C. A&T (3-27-10) … had a season-high three hits in five at-bats in the first game with Coppin State (4-2-10) … scored a season-high three runs and hit his first extra-base hit, a double, in the series finale with Coppin (4-3-10) … went 2-for-3 with two steals in the first game of the series with UMES (4-10-10) … batted 2-for-4 and scored twice against Virginia State (4-20-10) … had a season-high two RBI in the loss to VCU (5-5-10).
High School: First-team All-TCIS and VIS All-State Division II as a senior … also selected to the All-Tidewater second team … teamed with Serafine and Morton to help GCA win the VIS state title as a senior … batted .522 with four home runs, 27 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 18 attempts … attended Kellam High School in Virginia Beach prior to transferring to GCA...was a first-team All-Beach District baseball player as a junior in 2008 … as a senior on the Kellam football team, Taylor was the Beach District Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-Tidewater pick after rushing for 1,590 yards and 13 TDs.
