2011 (Junior): Played in 36 games and started 34 times … batted .286 with 12 doubles and 14 runs batted in … excelled behind the plate, tallying 40 assists as NSU’s primary catcher … threw out a MEAC-leading 35 percent of attempted base stealers, cutting down 21 of 60 … had eight multi-hit games … went 3-for-4 with two doubles in the second game of a doubleheader with Savannah State, matching his career high in hits (2-27-11) … had three straight games with two hits, two coming in the Penn series (3-19 and 3-20-11) and culminating with a 2-for-5 day against William & Mary … threw out a career-best five attempted base stealers in the first game with Penn (3-19-11) … also had three hits at ODU (4-6-11), Coppin State (4-11-11) and Florida A&M (5-7-11) … scored a career-high four runs against Coppin (4-11-11) … drove in a career-high-tying three runs in each of NSU’s first two MEAC Tournament games, against N.C. 2010 (Sophomore): Saw action in 32 games, starting 28 … split time between catcher (15 starts) and designated hitter (13 starts) … batted .309 with 21 RBI and 17 runs scored … registered six doubles and one triple … went 2-for-4 and matched his career high with three runs batted in during the series finale with Coppin State (4-3-10) … was a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs scored in the first game of a doubleheader with Savannah State (5-1-10) … recorded a 1-for-3 day with a season and career-high-tying three RBI against VCU (5-5-10) … also had three RBI in his next game, finishing 2-for-6 against FAMU (5-8-10) … equaled his season best with a season-high three hits in four at-bats in the second game against FAMU (5-8-10)…hit his first career triple and also scored two runs and knocked in two in that contest … finished the FAMU series 6-for-14 with seven RBI.
2009 (Freshman): Played in 26 games and started 22 behind the plate … finished the season with a .284 batting average, 19 runs, 21 hits, seven doubles, one home run and 12 RBI … scored two runs in the opener vs. N.C. Central (2-21-09) … was 2-for-3 with a career-high three RBI, two runs scored and one double the next day against Savannah State … registered a season-high three hits, all of them doubles, and scored twice against Marist (3-7-09) … was 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and an RBI at Coppin State (3-31-09) … scored a pair of runs against both N.C. Central (4-15-09) and Hofstra (5-9-09) … hit his first career home run, a two-run shot, in that contest with Hofstra … matched his season high with three hits in the MEAC Tournament loss to Bethune-Cookman (5-14-09).
