2011 (Freshman): Made three appearances on the mound in a relief role … pitched three innings and struck out four hitters … fanned three batters in an inning of work against Virginia State (4-12-11) … also had one at-bat during the year, reaching on an error against Florida A&M (5-8-11).

High School: A four-year letterwinner … selected to the All-Peninsula District and Daily Press All-Stars first team as a senior, when he batted .393 with eight home runs and 25 RBI … named the Peninsula District Player of the Year as a junior, when he belted 12 home runs, drove in 46 and compiled a 4-2 record on the mound … was a first-team all-district, All-Eastern Region and Daily Press All-Star pick as a junior … also earned all-state honorable mention that season … was the all-district designated hitter as a sophomore, when he hit seven home runs.
