Brown was a two-time NCAA Division I Outdoor All-American at NSU in the 400 meters … he placed third at the NCAA national outdoor meet in 2000 and fourth in 2001 … owns school outdoor records in the 400 (45.08 seconds) and sprint medley relay (3:19.71) and indoor record in the 500 (1:03.25) and 4x400 (3:07.80) … also owns the MEAC Outdoor Championship record in the 400m (45.60) … is a four-time Olympian for the Bahamas in the 400 and 4x400 relay (2000, ’04, ’08, ’12) … won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 4x400 relay … member of the NSU and MEAC Halls of Fame … became NSU’s first MEAC Hall of Fame inductee in 2009.
