Biography

2008 (Junior Season)
Played in all 49 games and started 48 times…was second on the team in stolen bases (14) and tied for second in home runs (two)…hit four doubles, three triples and knocked in 23 runs…had seven games with two hits, including two such contests in the MEAC Tournament…scored three runs and knocked in one in the season-opening win over Chicago State (2-24-08)…was 2-for-3 in the second game of a doubleheader with Lafayette (3-1-08)…hit a solo homer in the series finale against Lafayette (3-2-08)…was 2-for-4 with a steal in the series finale against North Carolina A&T (3-23-08)…stole two bases against Coppin State (3-31-08)…batted 2-for-3 with a double, triple, two runs scored and one steal in the win over Virginia State (4-3-08)…went 2-for-3 against both Maryland Eastern Shore (4-24-08) and Savannah State (4-26-08)…was named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team after batting .286 (6-for-21) and stealing three bases in the team’s six games…hit 2-for-3 with a triple and a stolen base while scoring three times in the tournament win over UMES (5-16-08)…went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the MEAC final against Bethune-Cookman (5-18-08).

2007 (Sophomore Season)
Batted .234 with 37 hits in 158 at bats as the Spartans’ starting right fielder…10 of his 37 hits went for extra bases…was tied for second on the team with four home runs…batted .264 against MEAC teams, starting in all 17 games…led team in stolen bases (13), stolen base attempts (15), games played (49) and games started (48)…had nine multi-hit games…drove in 15 runs for the year…went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a double against St. Joseph’s (2-11-07)…had a career-high three hits in four at-bats and drove in two against Villanova (2-18-07)…went 2-for-4 with his first career homer, a double and two RBI against Sacred Heart (2-25-07)…hit another home run against VMI, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a double (3-6-07)…had two stolen bases against Seton Hall (3-11-07)…matched his career high with three hits against Coppin State (4-1-07)…was 3-for-3 with a career-high three RBI and a two-run homer in that game…had first triple of the season against Bethune-Cookman (4-14-07)…stole two bases and scored twice against Savannah State (5-14-07)…hit his fourth home run of the season against FAMU in the first round of the MEAC Tournament (5-17-07)…had two runs scored and an RBI triple against North Carolina A&T in the second round of the MEAC Tournament (5-18-07). 

2006 (Freshman Season)
Played in nine games, starting one… had a pinch-hit double at ODU (2-14-06)…got his first career start against Old Dominion (4-19-06).

High School
A three-year letterwinner…was second-team All-Central District, second-team All-Metro and first-team All-Tri Cities as a junior and senior…batted .430 with nine home runs and 40 RBI as a senior…bated .303 with five homers and 35 RBI as a junior…batted .475 as a sophomore.
