2010: Won team’s Leadership Award … Named to the MEAC All-Academic Team … Went 2-15 in singles play, including 2-11 in dual matches … Posted a 0-4 mark in MEAC matches … Competed at the No. 1 slot for three matches and at No. 2 singles in the others … Earned wins over opponents from Chowan and UMES … Had a 4-11 overall doubles record … Went 3-8 in dual play … Competed at No. 3 doubles with sister Ashley Foster and at No. 2 with Chengetayi Tsapayi … Went 0-4 in MEAC play.

2009: Posted a 3-7 overall singles record and went 0-4 in the MEAC … Was 2-1 at No. 5 singles … Went 2-4 at No. 2 doubles with Naeemah Brooks … Also played doubles with Ashlee Daugherty and Jennifer Astbury.

2008: Had a 2-11 record in singles play … Posted a 4-5 doubles record with teammate Ashlee Daugherty … Duo was 2-5 at No. 2 doubles and 2-0 at No. 3.

2007: Went 8-11 overall and 6-4 in the MEAC in singles matches in her first year as a Spartan … Was 3-2 at No. 4 singles and also had three wins at No. 5 singles (3-4) … Played most of the season with Flaminia Migone in doubles competition, finishing with a 7-4 overall record … Pair went 3-2 at No. 2 doubles and 4-2 at No. 3.

High School: Played four years of varsity tennis for coach William Lloyd … Beat her younger sister Ashley to win the 2006 Eastern District singles title, helping the Comets to the district championship … Also won the Eastern District doubles title in 2006 with her sister … Advanced to the district doubles championship game with Ashley in 2005.

Personal: Full name is Brittany Leigh Foster … Was born on Jan. 3, 1988 … Parents Laguna and Karana Foster are NSU alumni … Father Laguna ran track for the Spartans … Majoring in biology.
