2008: Was the Spartans’ only All-MEAC pick this year, earning second-team honors after hitting .324 with five doubles, a triple and 13 RBI for the season … Led the team with 55 hits and 170 at-bats and tied for the team lead in runs scored (35) … During NSU’s MEAC Tournament run, hit .318 with eight runs, two walks and a double in the Spartans’ six tournament games before being named to the MEAC All-Tournament team … Had 72 putouts in the outfield to set the new NSU school record … Was also named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Second Team and was a National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association Scholar Athlete … Earned MEAC All-Academic honors … Did not have an error in 81 chances … Was a combined 6-for-7 with two RBI and a stolen base in the April 9 doubleheader against North Carolina Central … Went 4-for-4 in game 1 of that doubleheader … Was a combined 7-for-10 and scored five runs in the three-game series against Winston-Salem State … Was 3-for-4 and scored once in the second game of the April 30 doubleheader with Hampton … Went 3-for-5 with two runs against Morgan State in the MEAC Tournament May 9 … Went 2-for-2 with two walks and scored twice against Howard May 9 … Led the team with 14 multiple-hit games … Had the longest hitting streak on the team (11 games) that stretched from April 16 to May 9.
