2007 (Junior Year)
Played in 32 games with 28 starts…hit .269 with 18 hits in 67 at-bats…recorded 18 RBI, four doubles, and a team-high five home runs…totaled two hits (both homeruns), six RBI, and scored four runs on the first day of the MEAC Roundup against Hampton and Delaware State (4-13-07)…had a season-high four RBI against Hampton at the Roundup…was 1-for-2 with three runs and an RBI against Delaware State (4-13-07)…missed eight games after being hit in the mouth by a foul ball against Morgan State at the Roundup (4-14-07)…returned to the lineup three weeks later when the Spartans split a doubleheader at Hampton (5-6-07)…had a seven-game hitting streak that stretched from the second game of a doubleheader with UMES (3-31-07) to the Delaware State game at the MEAC Roundup…also had a three-game home run streak in that stretch…was 2-for-3 with two RBI in the 7-6 win over St. Francis in the Elon University Phoenix Classic (3-4-07)…went 1-for-3 with two runs and three RBI in the 11-5 win at Howard (3-25-07).

2006 (Sophomore Year)
Played in 36 games with 27 starts…batted .188 with 13 hits in 69 at-bats…had three doubles, one home run and was 1-for-2 in stolen-base attempts…played second base and designated player…started the season strong by hitting a two-run homer in game one of the season opener against Canisius (2-19-06)…was 1-for-1 with an RBI double in the second game of a doubleheader against Bethune-Cookman (3-14-06)…batted 2-for-4 in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of Maryland-Eastern Shore (4-5-06)…went a combined 4-for-5 with a double, three RBI and three runs scored in the MEAC Roundup games against Coppin State (4-8-06) and Morgan State (4-9-06)… also hit .500 (1-for-2) with a walk in the first of two games against South Carolina State (4-14-06)…was a combined 2-for-5 with three RBI and a sacrifice fly in the season-ending doubleheader sweep of Maryland-Eastern Shore (4-30-06). 

2005 (Freshman Year)
Played in 35 games and started 32 in her rookie season…hit .190 with 12 hits and three runs scored in 63 at-bats…four of her 12 hits were doubles…was 2-for-3 with an RBI in the second game of a doubleheader sweep of Morgan State (2-20-05)…was 2-for-2 with two RBI in the first game of a doubleheader against Maryland-Eastern Shore (3-25-05).
High School: Lettered three years in softball, two in basketball and one in volleyball…was a first-team All-James River District selection in softball as a junior and senior and honorable mention as a sophomore…was also a second-team All-Region B pick as a junior…batted .355 as a sophomore, .420 as a junior and .380 as a senior…helped team to district championships as a sophomore and junior…was second-team all-district in volleyball as a junior, and was also named the basketball team’s best defensive player that year.

Ashley Danielle Archer…daughter of Keith and Jacqueline Archer…born Feb. 20, 1986…majoring in psychology…wants to become a psychologist.
