2007 (Junior Year)
Played in 19 games with 16 starts and had 21 appearances in the pitching circle…was 5-6 with a 4.56 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 70.2 innings…threw three complete games for the season…earned her first win of the season against Marist when she allowed six hits and two runs (one earned) in 5.1 innings of work (3-9-07)…named MEAC Pitcher of the Week on March 12 after posting a 2-2 mark with a 3.26 ERA the week before…earned her first victory after pitching four scoreless innings and giving up six hits and two runs (one earned) in 5.1 innings against Marist (3-9-07)…against Niagara (3-10-07), the right-hander earned the win after allowing just five hits and one run in 5.1 innings of work…she logged five scoreless innings in that game…went the distance against South Carolina State, yielding six hits, one earned run, and a season-high four strikeouts in a 6-2 win over the Lady Bulldogs (3-15-07)…did not give up more than nine hits in any game…had six at-bats for the season and earned her only RBI when she walked in a run against Canisius (2-25-07).

At SCCC (Freshman/Sophomore Years)
An honorable-mention All-Jayhawk West Conference as a sophomore…also earned second-team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I All-Region VI in 2006 after compiling a 15-7 record and 2.84 ERA…as a freshman in 2005, Wittwer was a first-team all-region and all-conference performer who went 20-14 with a 2.75 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 214.2 innings pitched…teamed with current Spartan Hitomi Greene to help Seward County to a school-record 46-22 mark in 2005. 

High School
Played four years on the varsity team at Central High School…was named to the all-conference first team as a senior…was also named team MVP that season.

Sarah Jean Wittwer was born on June 25, 1985…daughter of Duane and Susan Wittwer…majoring in marketing.
