At JMU: Attended JMU from 2010-14 … redshirted as part of the baseball team as a freshman in 2011 … played in 20 games and started 12 times for the Dukes in 2012 … had four extra-base hits among his seven hits on the year, with three doubles, one homer and six RBI … hit a solo homer for his first collegiate hit, vs. Lafayette … had a six-game hitting streak in his first six games as a starter at first base … was a JMU Athletics Director’s Scholar Athlete and winner of the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award … did not play in 2013 or 2014 … graduated with a bachelor’s in sport and recreation management and a minor in business in 2014.
 
High School: A four-year letterwinner for St. Clair Jones at Kellam … also lettered all four years in golf … batted .398 with a .540 on-base percentage and was first-team All-Beach District as a senior … hit .386 and made second-team All-Beach as a junior … honorable mention all-district as a junior … on the golf course, Kilmon was named All-Beach District three times and led the Knights to a top-three finish in the VHSL state playoffs each of his last two years, winning the Beach District both years and finishing in the top two in the Eastern Region as well. 
 
Personal: Ryan Charles Kilmon was born on March 22, 1992 … son of Rodney and Cindy Kilmon … working on his master’s degree in special education at NSU.
