2016-17 (Freshman Year): Named the team’s Most Improved Player … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll in the fall … Bowled in 29 games and averaged 163.9, posting a total pinfall of 4,753 … Had four 200 games on the season … Three of those came at the Red Flash Invitational on Jan. 28, where she averaged a season-best 188.8 in five games … Rolled a season-high 222 that day and also had games of 201 and 213 … Bowled a 204 as part of a five-game effort at the MEAC Championship on March 24, averaging 170.8 for the day … Competed in two games at the Virginia Union Invitational on Nov. 5 at the beginning of the season, posting a 175.5 average … Also competed in 37 Baker games.
High School: Attended Deep Creek High School all four years … Started bowling in eighth grade … Competed in the Tidewater Team Challenge travel league as well as the JEB Little Creek Kids on Strike youth league … Won the triple crown (highest game, series and average) in the Kids on Strike league her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons … Finished in second place in Division 2 doubles at the 2015 Tidewater United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Youth Championship … The following year in 2016, placed sixth in the Division 2 doubles handicapped event, ninth in the singles handicapped event and 11
th in the all events category at the Tidewater USBC Youth Championship … Finished in the top 8 in the Tidewater Virginia USBC Youth Bowling league to earn a shot to compete for the title … Also competed in the state finals of the under 20 girls 2016 Virginia State Pepsi USBC Youth Championships … Participated in the 2014 Teen Masters Championship … Took part in the National Bowling Association’s Youth Weekend in Aug. 2016 at the International Training and Research Center in Texas … Member of the volleyball team her first two years at Deep Creek and was on the cheerleading squad her junior year … Finished school with a 4.0 GPA and was named to the Principal’s Honor Roll each year.
