2009: Ranked second on the team and13th in the MEAC with a .348 batting average…played in 42 games, starting 41…was second among the Spartans with 11 doubles…also tripled once, homered once and drove in 23 runs…was perfect (5-for-5) on stolen-base attempts…had 17 multi-hit games…was 6-for-13 in the season-opening HBCU tournament at Savannah State, going 3-for-5 against N.C. Central (2-21-09) and knocking in a season-best three runs in the first game against SSU (2-22-09)…was 2-for-5 with three runs scored in the first win over Coppin State (3-31-09)…went 4-for-11 in the three-game series with Bethune-Cookman (4-11 and 4-12-09)…doubled twice en route to a 3-for-5, three-run effort at CSU (4-13-09)…had a team-best 12-game hitting streak beginning with the second Delaware State game (4-18-09) through the Hofstra series (5-10-09)…started off the stretch by going 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double against DSU…had a total of nine multi-hit games during the streak, during which he batted .521…was 2-for-3 with a homer, three runs scored and two RBI in the series finale at FAMU (5-2-09)…followed that up with a torrid 10-for-12 (.833) series against Hofstra…was a perfect 7-for-7 in the doubleheader with Hofstra on 5-9-09, scoring six runs and knocking in five…matched his season high with three RBI in the first game against the Pride, then had a career-high four hits and four runs scored in the nightcap…selected to play with the Catawba Valley (N.C.)
