Biography

2018 (Sophomore Year): Played in the first 11 games of the season before missing the rest of the year due to injury … Started all 11 games at third base … Had 12-for-31 (.387) during that time with 10 runs, two doubles, four home runs and 16 RBI … Posted an .839 slugging percentage as well … Ranked 10th in the MEAC in home runs … Had four multi-hit games and five with two or more RBI … Hit 8-for-20 (.400) with runners on base, including 7-for-16 (.438) with runners in scoring position … Her best stretch came in a doubleheader against South Carolina State on Feb. 18 … Hit a home run and batted 3-for-4 with two runs and four RBI in game 1 … Belted another homer in game 2, finishing 2-for-2 with two runs and four RBI … Had her first home run of the season in game 2 at Savannah State on Feb. 16, batting 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI … Hit 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI against S.C. State on Feb. 23 … The next day, drove in a pair of runs in game 1’s win, and batted 1-for-3 with a run and three RBI in game 2.
 
2017 (Freshman Year): Member of the AD’s Honor Roll in the fall … Named MEAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 27 … Competed in all 36 games and started every one at third base … Hit .267 on the year in 101 at bats … Scored 15 runs on 27 hits with four doubles, four home runs, 17 RBI and 14 walks … Tied for the team lead in home runs and ranked second in RBI and slugging percentage (.426) … Led the team with seven multi-RBI games on the year … Hit 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in a victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on March 10 … Belted a two-run home run, the first of her career, and went 1-for-3 with two RBI in game 1 against Delaware State on March 25 … Walked three times and scored once in a game 2 win over the Hornets … Hit a solo homer and finished 1-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI in a victory against Maryland Eastern Shore on April 2 … Drove in two runs while hitting 2-for-2 in a victory over Howard on April 14 … The next day in game 1 of a doubleheader, went 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored for the first three-hit game of her career … Also had three hits, including a solo home run, in three at bats with two runs scored in game 2 at Hampton on April 29 … Smacked a two-run homer and hit 1-for-4 in a win at Coppin State on April 27 … On March 4, combined to go 2-for-7 with two runs and two RBI in games against Appalachian State and Campbell … Drove in a pair of runs in a win over Buffalo on Feb. 25 … Also had two-hit games in game 2 against Marist on Feb. 18 (2-for-3) and against Hartford on Feb. 26 (2-for-4) … Scored twice in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson on March 11.
 
High School: Competed on the softball team at First Colonial High School all four years under coach Steve Butler … Finished her career as the all-time leading home run hitter in Virginia High School League (VHSL) history with 36 … Surpassed the previous record of 35 set by Misty Hall from 2003-06 … Named the 6A state Player of the Year as a junior in 2015 and a senior in 2016 by both the Virginia High School Coaches Association (VHSCA) and the media … Was first-team All-State at third base her sophomore, junior and senior seasons … Earned the Tidewater Player of the Year award from the Virginian Pilot her junior and senior years … Also earned the Region 6A South Player of the Year and Coastal Conference Player of the Year awards during her last two years … Batted .473 during her four-year career with 99 runs, 141 hits, 36 home runs, 122 RBI, a .963 slugging percentage, a .538 on-base percentage and a .957 fielding percentage … Garnered first-team all-region and first-team All-Coastal Conference Honors her sophomore, junior and senior seasons … Also earned first-team All-Tidewater honors her last three seasons … Hit .508 with 27 runs, eight doubles, nine home runs, 25 RBI, a .584 on-base percentage and a 1.046 slugging percentage her senior season … Set the First Colonial home run record with 12 as a sophomore … Led the state of Virginia in home runs that year and finished with the second-most in a season in VHSL history … Also led First Colonial to its first state tournament appearance ever during her sophomore year in 2014, finishing third at the tournament … Batted .448 that year with 29 runs, 42 RBI and a 1.011 slugging percentage … Helped First Colonial reach the state championship game her junior year in 2015 after sharing the Coastal Conference regular season title and winning the tournament title … Hit .488 with 25 runs, 10 home runs, 27 RBI, 14 walks, a .568 on-base percentage and a 1.012 slugging percentage as a junior … Also batted .455 with 18 runs, five home runs and 28 RBI her freshman season … Took home first-team All-Beach District honors and second-team All-Region honors as a freshman … The team’s Offensive MVP all four years.
 
Club: Competed for the Hampton Roads Vipers from 2010-14 and for the Virginia Legends under coach Randy Norton from 2014-16.
