2010: Played in 33 contests, starting 31…was the starting catcher 29 times and got two starts as DH…notched a .333 batting average and a .405 on-base percentage…recorded 13 multi-hit games and drove in 16 runs…was successful on eight of his 11 stolen base attempts…had two hits in both his starts in the three-game set at N.C. A&T (3-27 and 3-28-10)…drove in two runs in the series finale victory over UMES (4-11-10)…went 4-for-7 with five runs scored in the two games he started against FAMU (5-8 and 5-9-10)…that started a stretch of three straight games where Parsons had two hits…also went 2-for-5 vs. Longwood (5-15-10)…had two two-hit games in the MEAC Tournament, in the opener with Delaware State (5-20-10) and the final game with N.C. A&T (5-22-10)…named to the MEAC Commissioner’s and VaSID all-state academic teams.

2009: Saw action in 25 games, starting 23 behind the plate…finished the season with a .250 average and seven RBI…posted five games with two hits, including back-to-back contests against William & Mary (32-5-09) and Coppin State (3-31-09)…scored a career-high two runs while going 2-for-3 at East Carolina (3-18-09)…finished 2-for-3 with a career-high three RBI in a win over Savannah State (4-25-09)…also had a 2-for-3 outing in the MEAC Tournament victory over UMES (5-15-09).

At Louisburg: Played one year with the Hurricanes in Louisburg, N.C…batted .267.

High School: Honorable mention All-Southeastern District as a senior after batting .390 with 28 runs scored and 14 RBI…batted .332 with 63 runs scored and 45 RBI in his three years on the varsity.

Personal: Cameron Scott Parsons was born on Nov. 2, 1988...son of Steve and Debbie Parsons....goes by Cam…majoring in business management…brother, Stephen, was formerly a baseball player at Campbell.
