2019 (Junior): Made a team-high 22 pitching appearances, all out of the NSU bullpen … Posted an 0-1 record with a 5.26 ERA and one save in 25.2 innings pitched … Struck out 28 batters … Allowed just one earned run over five combined innings in two relief outings against William & Mary … Struck out three in three innings pitched in the second meeting with the Tribe … Pitched scoreless ball in seven of his final eight appearances on the year, six of which came consecutively … Struck out the only batter he faced to pick up a save at Maryland Eastern Shore in early May … Fanned the only two batters he faced against VCU … Pitched two scoreless innings in the MEAC Tournament win over Florida A&M, striking out two batters in the process … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters and was a member of the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team.

2018 (Sophomore): Pitched in 14 games including two starts … Logged 36 innings pitched and struck out 26 batters … Went 0-3 with a 5.50 ERA … Struck out five batters in 3.1 innings of relief duty in the third game against Villanova … Pitched four innings against Sacred Heart, allowing three hits and two runs … Worked 4.2 innings against Old Dominion … Pitched 1.1 scoreless innings in a win at Delaware State in the first series between the teams … Fanned a career-high seven batters at North Carolina Central … Gave up just two earned runs and pitched 4.2 innings in that game … Pitched a season-high six innings in relief in a loss at Jackson State, notching three strikeouts … Struck out four over four innings of relief duty in the MEAC Tournament against North Carolina A&T … Named to the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for both semesters … Member of the MEAC All-Academic and VaSID All-State academic teams.

2017 (Freshman): Pitched in 14 games, all out of the bullpen, as a freshman … Tied for third on the team in relief appearances … Logged a 2-1 record and struck out 16 batters in 19 innings … Tossed a scoreless relief inning with one strikeout against Niagara … Also retired two batters, one by strikeout, in the first MDES series sweep … Struck out a season-high four and did not allow a hit in two innings of work at N.C. Central … Pitched a season-high six innings in relief during an NSU loss to Delaware State … Allowed four runs and seven hits while striking out three in that game … Earned his first collegiate win with 1.1 innings of work at Longwood … Also picked up the win in NSU’s MEAC North-clinching win at MDES, striking out two in two scoreless innings of work … Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for both semesters.

High School: Played parts of three seasons on the varsity squad at Oscar Smith … As a senior, Morgan was named to the All-Monitor Merrimac Conference second team … Also selected as the team’s MVP … Posted a 2.84 ERA and averaged a strikeout per inning as a junior, when he was named the varsity Rookie of the Year … Rated the No. 6 senior left-handed pitcher in the state as a senior and was a national top 1,000 recruit according to Perfect Game.
