2019-20: NSU AD Honor Roll member for both semesters and also named to the MEAC All-Academic Team. Cross Country: Competed in three meets, the panorama Farms Invitational, ECU Invitational and MEAC Championship … Clocked a season-best 8K time of 27:01 at ECU … Finished 19^th overall at the conference meet in a time of 27:39.8. Indoor: An All-MEAC performer in track, Jihad capped his season by finishing as the runner-up in the 800 meters at the conference indoor meet (1:54.24) … Also ran legs on NSU’s runner-up DMR team and third-place 4x400 squad … Posted three other top-five finishes in the 800 during the regular season … Was runner-up at the Penn State National in 1:53.49, a new PR … Was also runner-up at the VMI Team Challenge (1:55.60) and fourth at the Great Dane Classic (1:55.71) … Also placed third in the 1,000 meters (2:31.96) and with the DMR team at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational. Outdoor: Season was canceled due to COVID-19.

2018-19: Cross Country: Named NSU cross country team Rookie of the Year … Season-best 8K time was 26:43.1 at the ECU Pirates Invitational … Earned All-MEAC honors with an 11th-place showing at the conference championship. Indoor: Won the 800 meters in his first collegiate track meet, the Virginia Tech Invitational (1:54.01) … Also ran on the third-place 4x400 relay team at that meet … Helped the 4x400 team to a victory at the Keydet Invitational … Ran a season-best 800m time at the Penn State National, clocking a 1:53.84 for a 14th-place finish … Placed fourth in the 1,000m at the Liberty Invitational (2:32.92) … Was fifth at the MEAC indoor championship in the 800 (1:55.02) while also helping both the DMR and 4x400 relay teams place third in the conference. Outdoor: Redshirted.
