Biography

2023 (Fifth Year): Garnered 2023 All-MEAC Second-Team honors … Was named to the 2023 MEAC All-Tournament team … Broke the NSU program record for doubles recorded in a career with 42 in her career … Hit her 40th double, the record breaker, on April 12 against Hampton in Norfolk, VA … Played in all 47 games making 44 starts at first base for the Spartans … In 136 at bats, she scored 19 runs and drove in 33 RBI on 39 hits with 10 doubles, 16 walks, and eight home runs … One of her home runs came in the opening game of the 2023 MEAC Softball Tournament against N.C. Central … In the field, she recorded 292 putouts with five assists and turned 10 double plays in 306 total chances … Recorded a career-best 20 putouts, on 20 total chances, in the nine-inning game against Delaware on March 5 …  

2022 (Senior Year): Started in 53 of the 55 games in which she appeared … Recorded 17 runs on 45 hits driving in 36 RBI in 152 at-bats … Collected 13 doubles, two triples, and six home runs with 17 walks and two stolen bases … Drove in four RBI in the third game of the SCSU series on April 10 … Hit a pair of doubles in the opening game of the Coppin St. series on April 2 …  

2021 (Junior Year): Earned a spot on the All-MEAC first team at outfield … Was a Preseason All-MEAC second-team pick at third base … Voted to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Second Team … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll both semesters … Played in 39 games and made 36 starts, 26 in right field … Also started five at DP, three in left field and two at first base … Hit .324 on the year with 17 runs on 35 hits, six doubles, two triples, five home runs, 23 RBI and 10 walks … Posted a .556 slugging percentage and a .387 on-base percentage … Stood third in the MEAC in home runs (5), fourth in total bases (60), fifth in hits (35), RBI (23) and slugging (.556), and 10th in hitting (.324) … Her home run total ranked 15th in NSU Division I season records … Had eight multi-hit games on the year, tied for the most on the team, and five with at least two RBI … Hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh for a 9-5 win over Howard on March 20 … Batted 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI in game 2 … Also had a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh in a 6-5 win over Cleveland State on March 6 … Hit a home run and drove in three runs in a game 1 win over Coppin State on April 3 … Smacked a pair of doubles and hit 2-for-4 with a run scored in a game 2 win at Delaware State on April 23 … The next day, went 2-for-4 with a triple, home run and three RBI in game 1, and 2-for-3 with another double in game 2 … Batted 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs and three RBI in a game 1 win over Youngstown State on Feb. 27 … Started the year with a double as part of a 2-for-3 effort with two runs and an RBI in a game 1 win over Morehead State on Feb. 20 … In game 2, hit a triple and drove in two more runs.
 
2020 (Sophomore Year): Member of the AD’s Honor Roll in the spring and the MEAC All-Academic Team … Competed in 16 games on the season and made 16 starts before it was shut down due to COVID-19 … Started 10 games at third base and six at DP … Hit .343 in 35 at bats, totaling seven runs, 12 hits, three doubles, one home run, 10 RBI, six walks and a stolen base … Hit 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base in a game 2 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 28 … The next day, hit a home run and went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI in a victory against Morehead State … Hit a double as part of a 1-for-3 game with a run scored later in the day against Marshall … Also had a double and a run scored on March 1 versus the Thundering Herd … Hit 3-for-4 with three RBI against Saint Peter’s on March 7 … Hit a double, walked and drove in a run on Feb. 22 versus Hartford … Drew a walk and batted 1-for-2 with a run scored and two RBI in a victory at Maryland Eastern Shore on March 12.
 
2019 (Freshman Year): Attended Tusculum in the fall of 2018 before arriving at NSU for the spring semester … Competed in and started all 45 games … Made 32 starts at first base, 12 at DP and one at third base … Member of the AD’s Honor Roll in the spring … Batted .239 on the year with 13 runs, 33 hits, a team-leading 10 doubles, three home runs, 22 RBI, 11 walks and four stolen bases … Held a .335 on-base percentage … Ranked second in the league in putouts with 268 and tied for seventh in doubles … Ranked 11th in NSU Division I records in doubles … Batted .246 (16-for-65) with runners on base, including 13-for-46 (.283) with runners in scoring position … Posted five multi-hit games on the year and five with at least two RBI … Hit an RBI double in the top of the eighth to help NSU to a 7-6 win over Delaware on March 2 … Drove in the game winning run with a single in the top of the seventh in a 6-5 win over Morgan State on March 24 … Batted 3-for-4, including a double, with a run and three RBI in a game 2 win at Delaware State on April 19 … Smacked a double, drove in two runs and scored once while hitting 1-for-3 in a game 2 victory over Coppin State on April 12 … On Feb. 15, hit 1-for-4 with a run and two RBI against Robert Morris, and then 2-for-4 with two RBI later in the day versus Longwood … Drove in two runs and hit 1-for-3 in game 1 at North Carolina Central on March 5 … Went 2-for-3 with an RBI in a win over Iona on March 10, and then 2-for-4 with a run scored in the next game, a victory against North Carolina A&T on March 15 … Also had two hits in game 2 at Radford on March 20, part of a 3-for-6 afternoon.
 
High School: Competed on the varsity softball team at Western Branch all four years … Named second-team All-Region 6A and second-team All-Southeastern District at utility her senior season … Hit .360 with 21 runs scored … Earned the team’s Defensive Player of the Year Award her junior and senior seasons … Batted .420 as a junior and was named second-team All-Monitor-Merrimac Conference at shortstop … Hit .415 her freshman year and .400 as a sophomore … Garnered first-team all-conference honors both years at outfield … The team’s Rookie of the Year her freshman season as well … Was a Scholar Athlete Award winner all four years.
