2023-24: Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for both semesters … Also named to the MEAC All-Academic Team. Indoor: Competed in five events … Won the MEAC Indoor Championship in the 60 meters in 6.66 … Earned second place in the 200 meters at the same meet that broke the school record (21.10) which broke the school record … Opened the season with a win in the 200 meters at the HBCU Showcase (21.45) … Placed second in the same meet in the 60 meters in 6.65 … Recorded a second-place finish at the Penn State National Open in the 60 meters (6.70). Indoor: MEAC Indoor Champion in the 60 meters (6.74) and 200 meters (21.09) … Competed in five indoor meets, racking up five individual wins … Named MEAC Track Athlete of the Week on Feb. 1 … Selected to VaSID All-State Second Team … Opened the season with a pair of runner up finishes in the 60 meters (6.77) and 300 meters (34.78) at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational … Placed third in the 200 meters (21.95) at the KPMG HBCU Showcase …  Won the 60 meters (6.75) and 200 (21.32) meters at the Winter Classic, clocking a season-best 6.72 in the preliminary heat of the former … Continued hot stretch by winning the 200 meters at the East Coast Invitational (21.44) and leading 4x400 relay squad to victory (3:29.59) … Posted top-five finishes in the 60 meters and 200 meters at pre-national meet … Also helped 4x400 relay team earn third at MEAC Indoor Championships (3:16.44). 2021-22: Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for both semesters. Indoor: Selected to VaSID All-State First Team … Named MEAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week on Jan. 19, Jan. 26, and Feb. 16 … Competed in six meets for the Spartans … Achieved season bests of 6.66 in the 60 and 20.77 in the 200 at the MEAC Indoor Championships, taking first place in both events … Also posted a personal best of 34.38 in the 300 at the South Carolina Invitational. Outdoor: Selected to VaSID All-State Second Team … Ran in seven meets, capped off by an appearance at the NCAA East Preliminary Round … Placed second with a season best of 10.28 in the 100 at the Norfolk State Invitational, also earning second in the 200 … Finished second in both the 100 and 200 at the MEAC Outdoor Championships, while helping the 4x100 relay team take first with a time of 40.12.

2020-21: Member of the NSU AD Honor Roll for the spring semester. Indoor: Did not compete in any meets with NSU. Outdoor: Earned honorable mention All-America honors with the 4x100 relay after the Spartans placed 21st at outdoor nationals … Won the 100 meters in 10.61 (w) and ran on the winning 4x100 relay (40.23) at the Virginia Grand Prix … Took third in the 100 meters and seventh in the 200 at the MEAC Outdoor Championships … Ran a season-best of 10.43 in the 100m prelims … Also ran a leg on NSU’s second-place 4x100 relay (40.14) and fourth-place 4x400 relay at the conference meet … Also participated in the 4x100 relay during the postseason, contributing to NSU’s season-best time of 39.37 seconds at the NCAA East Prelim to advance to nationals.

2019-20: Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for the spring semester. Indoor: One of the team’s top sprinters, Cole notched two top-four finishes at the MEAC Indoor Championships … Clocked a season-best of 6.73 seconds in the 60 meters to secure fourth place at the conference indoor meet … Was third in the 200m at the MEAC indoor meet as well, posting a time of 21.43 seconds … Finished as runner-up in the 60m at Albany (6.83) … Notched PRs at the time of 21.39 in the 200 meters (seventh place) and 35.94 in the 300 meters (10th) at the Gamecock Opener … Broke 6.8 60m dash for the first time as a Spartan at Penn State, clocking a 6.78 at the Penn State National … Placed fourth in the 60 at Liberty’s Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational (6.82 seconds) and fifth in the 200m (21.59). Outdoor: Season was canceled due to COVID-19.

At Wesley: Division III national champion in the 60-meter dash as a freshman … Clocked a PR of 6.77 seconds in the prelims at the indoor nationals … During outdoor season, was conference champion and first-team All-American in the 100-meter dash … Placed eighth in the 100m at the D-III nationals … Top wind-legal times were 10.70 in the 100 and 21.33 in the 200 … Broke the school indoor and outdoor 200m records and the 60-meter dash record as well.

High School: State 6A champion in the outdoor 200 meters as a senior … Also was state runner-up in the 55m and third place in the 100 as a senior … Was also an all-state performer in the 55, 100 and 200 meters as a junior.

Personal: Kai DeAndre Cole was born on June 14, 2000 … Son of Andre Cole and Niesha Robinson … Majoring in exercise science.
