2021 (Freshman Year): Member of the AD Honor Roll both semesters … Also named an ITA Scholar-Athlete … Finished with a 5-8 overall singles record, 1-2 in the MEAC … Went 1-4 at No. 2 singles, 3-3 at the No. 3 position, and 1-1 at the fifth slot … Earned a 6-0, 6-2 win over Delaware State’s Klaudija Lisovska on April 10 at No. 2 singles in a victory over the Hornets … Defeated Towson’s Lea Kosanovic, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 5 singles on March 7 … Also posted a 5-6 doubles mark, 2-1 in the league, going 2-1 at No. 2 doubles and 3-5 at the third position, all with Lydia Oviedo … At No. 3 doubles, posted a 6-4 win over Howard’s Aria Ragas and Kendall Addison on April 2 and a 6-2 victory over Coppin State’s Afruica Gentle and Shariah Dunwell on April 3 in a pair of MEAC wins.
High School: Was a state champion in her home state of Aguascalientes, Mexico each year from 2015-19 while a part of Club Pulgas Pandas … Earned singles and doubles championships at a regional tournament in the city of León in 2017 … Won grade 1 singles and doubles championships in León in 2019 … That same year, captured a grade 1 tournament championship in the state of Durango and was a national finalist at a grade 1 tournament in the state of Jalisco … Was also a champion in 2019 at a tournament in the city of Monterrey and at a tournament in the state of Querétaro … Captured the Claudia Hernandez tournament championship in 2018 … Was a state champion in a masters tournament in Aguascalientes in 2017 … In 2016, was a grade 2 tournament finalist in León and a grade 3 tournament champion in Aguascalientes … Began competing in International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournaments in 2019 … Also competed in some international tournaments in the city of Irapuato, Mexico from 2017-18.
