2010: Appeared in nine games, eight out of the bullpen and one as a starter…logged 15.2 innings and was 0-2…posted scoreless outings in five of his eight relief stints…made his first career start in Game 2 of a doubleheader with N.C. Central (4-28-10)…was charged with the loss, but allowed just one earned run (five total) in 3.2 innings of work…tossed two scoreless innings to complete a 12-0 shutout victory over FAMU (5-8-10)…pitched 2.2 scoreless innings in the first MEAC Tournament loss to N.C. A&T (5-21-10)…named to the NSU and MEAC Commissioner’s all-academic teams.

2009: Made three appearances in his freshman year as a Spartan…pitched one inning at Coppin State (3-31-09) and a scoreless inning with his first career strikeout against N.C. Central (4-15-09).

High School: Lettered two years for the Knights.

Personal: Kyle E. Davis was born on April 12, 1990…son of Edward and Stephanie Davis…majoring in kinesiotherapy…older brother, Ryan, also pitches for the Spartans.
