Saw action in 12 games, starting three as a freshman…recorded the first hit and RBI of his career with a single at East Carolina (3-18-09)…had the game-tying RBI double at UMES (4-5-09) to aid in the Spartans’ comeback victory…was 1-for-1 with a run scored against N.C. Central (4-15-09).

High School
A four-year varsity player... was a first-team All-Beach District, All-Eastern Region and All-Tidewater pick as a senior…also named second-team all-state…finished his final prep year with a .464 batting average, eight home runs and 22 RBI…was second in South Hampton Roads in homers…also pitched for Bayside…hit eight home runs as a junior and was a first-team all-district pick.
