Central (3-10-10) … allowed four hits and two runs in five innings of work … had five scoreless outings out of the NSU bullpen … fanned two hitters in one inning of relief during his final appearance of the year, vs. Campbell (5-11-10).
2009 (Sophomore): Pitched in 11 games, starting five times …struck out 22 batters in 23.2 innings pitched … recorded the final out to record his first career save in the win over Marist (3-8-09) … enjoyed a career game at Coppin State (4-13-09) … struck out a career-high 10 batted while pitching all seven innings in the complete-game victory ... allowed just three hits and two runs in that game.
2008 (Freshman): Logged 14 appearances and three starts in his rookie season … pitched 23.2 innings with 18 strikeouts and one complete game … did not allow an earned run in his first three relief appearances … allowed two earned runs in five innings of a no-decision at Liberty (4-2-08) in his first collegiate start … earned his first career victory by pitching a seven-inning complete game against Savannah State (4-26-08) … struck out a season-high six batters in that game, allowing three earned runs and six hits without walking any.
High School: Batted .425 with seven home runs and 30 RBI as a senior for coach Mario Walton … recorded three wins and five saves on the mound in his final prep season … a three-time first-team All-Southside District selection … also was a first-team all-district selection in football and baseball as a senior … lettered four years in basketball and baseball and three in football.
