Biography

2015 (Sophomore): Played in five games in his first season in a Spartan uniform … recorded just two at-bats on the year, without a hit … registered seven putouts behind the plate and did not commit an error.

At NSU: Sat out the 2014 season.
 
RCC: Played in 32 games and batted .200 as a freshman at Rappahannock CC in 2012 … scored seven runs and knocked in three.
 
High School: A four-year letterwinner at Warwick … was named the All-Peninsula District first team catcher a senior, when he batted .370 with four home runs, nine doubles and was 22-for-24 in stolen bases … earned all-district honorable mention honors as a sophomore … coached by Todd Barker.
 
Personal: Ben Louis Delgado was born on May 29, 1992 … son of Benny and Kathleen Delgado … majoring in psychology.
