Joe Morris enters his first year as the hitting coach at Norfolk State.
Prior to Norfolk State, Morris spent the previous two seasons at Wagner College as the outfield coach and assistant hitting coach.
During his time at Wagner, Morris coached multiple First and Second Team All-NEC Outfielders, while seeing the Seahawks make an appearance in the 2023 NEC Championship.
Before Wagner, Morris served as the hitting coach and strength and conditioning coach at Monroe Junior College in the Bronx, N.Y. from 2019-2021.
During his time as a player, Morris played at Queens College in Flushing, N.Y. where he hit .343 during his junior year, earning All-ECC 2nd team honors in 2016.
