2023 (Senior):
Played in 43 games, making 41 starts … Led the team with a .347 batting average … Also led the team in hits with 58 and stolen bases with 16 … Recorded four doubles, three triples, and 24 RBIs … Recorded 16 games with at least two hits and six games with at least three hits … Opened the season going 4-4 with a pair of RBIs and runs scored against Morehead State (2/18) … Went 3-5 with two RBIs and a pair of runs against Long Island (4/8) and at Merrimack College (5/5) … Went 3-5 again vs. Wagner (5/13) with an RBI, double and a run scored … Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for the spring semester … Also named to the NEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
 
2022 (Junior):
Played and started in 45 games … Posted a .314 batting average, recording 53 hits, which ranked second on the team … Led the team in RBIs with 40, stolen bases with 18, and triples with five … Also recorded 30 runs scored  eight doubles, five triples, and two home runs … Tallied at least two hits in 17 games and stole multiple bases in five games … Went 3-4 with a pair of triples against Marist (2/19) … Recorded a pair of hits that led to three RBIs and two runs scored at Maryland Eastern Shore (3/19) … Also went a perfect 4-4 with four RBIs, three runs scored, and a pair of stolen bases at Coppin State (4/10) … Logged a 3-5 game with a pair of RBIs and runs scored at Richmond (4/12) … Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll both semesters.
 
2021 (Sophomore)
All-MEAC first-team selection … Led the conference with 19 stolen bases … Also ranked second in the MEAC with three triples … Finished ninth in the conference in batting (.307), fourth in hits (54) and tied for sixth in runs scored (36) … Ended the year with 16 RBIs, seven doubles, three triples, and one homer … Recorded 16 games with at least two hits … Stole two bases in a game on three occasions … Was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two steals in a loss at Longwood (3/14)… Went 5-for-9 in the course of that day’s doubleheader … Hit first career homer, a three-run shot in game three of a series at Coppin State in late March … Tied career high with three hits in a game at Florida A&M (4/11) and at Delaware State (4/24) …  Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters and selected to the MEAC All-Academic Team.

2020 (Sophomore):
Played in five games and started once … Recorded three hits in five at-bats and scored twice on the year … Started in the win against Old Dominion, going 1-for-2 with two runs scored and three stolen bases … Also went 1-for-1 against Morehead State and Radford … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters and was selected to the MEAC All-Academic Team.

2019 (Freshman):
Appeared in 36 games and started 23 times, all at either designated hitter or in the outfield … Hit .268 with 11 stolen bases, 10 RBIs and five doubles … Made NSU debut by going 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs scored, a double and a stolen base in a loss to JMU … Finished the three games at JMU 4-for-8 with a hit in each game … Also batted 2-for-4 with two RBI against NJIT later in the month … Hit 4-for-11 with three stolen bases and three runs scored in the first three-game series with Delaware State … Earned MEAC Rookie of the Week for his efforts in that DSU series … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for both semesters.

High School: A four-year letterwinner at Smithfield … Batted .379 as a senior, when he was named to the All-Region 4A first team … Second-team all-conference as a junior, when he was named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year … Won the academic award four times, the coaches award once and the sportsmanship award once.

Personal: Dionte Latrell Brown was born on May 20, 2000 … Son of Donnie and Lawanda Brown … Majoring in exercise science.
